8 Petal Crochet Flower Pattern

Level of Skill: Easy
Things you will need:
1. Crochet Thread
2. Crochet Hook
3. Yarn Needle
4. Scissors
*Note: For this tutorial I used crochet thread and a
size 2.0 hook. Change yarns and hook size to get the desired look of your
flower.
Abbreviations and Stitches Used:
Ch- Chain(s)
Sl- Slip Stitch
*- Repeat
Sk- Skip
St-Stitch (s)
Stitches:
Dc-Double Crochet
Hdc- Half double Crochet
Round 1: Ch-6. Sl into first chain from the hook to form a
ring. Ch-1.
Round 2: Work 12 hdc into ring. Sl into beginning hdc. (12
hdc)
Round 3: Ch-2 (counts
as first hdc). Hdc in same space. * (2-hdc in the next space) *
Repeat until the end. Sl into beginning ch-2. (24 hdc)
Round 4: *(Ch-6, sk the next two sts, sl in the next st) *Repeat
until end. (You should end up with 6 rings total). Sl over into first ring.
Round 5: *(Work 12-dc into ring.)* Sl in same ring. Sl into next ring. Repeat
until all 6 rings are complete. Cut/tie
off lose ends.
Pattern Notes: To make your flower smaller you can eliminate
round three.
